- On the trip back, Ban began to explain what they had learned from the translated historical data...
- The Historical Records were the entire history of the Crag Men. The Crag Men appeared to have been an intelligent and industrious race. A matriarchal society, they had settled large parts of the moon Dysnomia.
- The major events that brought about the end to their society are two fold. One is a civil war between warring factions. The other is the appearance of a deadly and fatal disease which emerged from the swamps of the planet. Those who survived the disease found themselves blood thirsty and mad. What's worse is that the Crag Men believed that the disease was gaining sentient intelligence.
- The disease, threatening to wipe the Crag Men out, had all known strains of it collected and shot into space. The goal was to shoot it at a nearby moon that had volcanic activity - hoping the diseases would burn up and be destroyed.
- The moon, Algos, is largely believed to be uninhabited. Ten years ago, JumpCorp noted ruins on the surface of it. An expedition team was sent to scan the surface in depth, but a day into their studies, both of their ships mysteriously exploded. All the data collected was also wiped off of JumpCorps servers.
- A rogue faction held onto one sample of the virus and unleashed in - leading to the devolution of their entire species into the Crag Men as they're known today.
- There were no accounts about the Voids Men.
- During their travel, the group came to a ravine. Across it, there was a group of nine survivors. Several of them were in danger of falling off the edge and to their deaths.
- AUW, Remek, and Tamit leaped into action to help them - pulling up the people in danger.
- AUW would also tend to the wounds of those hurt.
- Allei and Nikki were on standby to assist while Crow attempted to talk to the survivors to learn what happened.
- Vela took to high ground where she noted in the distance a reflective light - much like the scope of a rifle.
- The crew learned that this malnourished and exhausted group of people were being harried and harassed - several of them already killed - by a mysterious antagonist who had a powerful sniper rifle at his command.
- He threatened to kill more people, if the crew did not turn over Remek and Nikki over. The group suspects this person to be affiliated with Paragon Science Equipment, the organization after Remek and Nikki.
- The group began to create a plan - hoping to keep the survivors safe while taking down their enemies.
- As the first part of the plan, Remek and Nikki went across unharmed.
- Across, they were met by a humanoid in a hazmat suit with a voice modulator.
- The figure demanded Remek and Nikki cuffed themselves.
- Nikki obliged, but Remek refused - activating his invisibility and tossing off his Yumi robots to tackle the situation! A fight was on...

Session 35 - The Flood
- Returning with a containment unit, the expedition leader (Ban) began to load up the sealed and deadly virus.
- AUW provided the correct instructions and methods to do so after he and Crow had been convinced that Horst was a trustworthy source - a Deader who believed in the betterment of intelligent life.
- Allei believed that a guardian was lurking by. Call it a...sixth sense.
- Crow opted to take the lead; checking down one of the nearby hallways.
- He saw there was an increase in humidity, floors and walls slicked with blood, and saw the movement of something humanoid.
- Crow experienced a hallucination - observing his deceased parents and his estranged sister as mutated corpses who blamed him for their deaths.
- Vela, upon hearing noise from the other hallway, moved to cover that one.
- Upon opening it, she found a Cragman. A Cragman that had been horribly mutated and changed into an abomination - boiled flesh, mawed tendrils, and bone spikes. The creature only knew pain and rage - it charged for Vela!
- The creature was not alone - dozens of them emerging from both hallways. The creatures were super strong and could easily kill or maim - luckily the crew was able to avoid being severely damaged by any of them.
- Vela held one hallway down with her vibroblades while Crow fired down the other way.
- Tamit would alternate her support between the hallways while Nikki focused on finishing the data collection of her PDD to ensure that they would have all the data stored here.
- Allei kept a level head and picked her shots off carefully with her plasma pistols while Remek focused on getting one of the doors closed. He'd later support the team with his robotics; dual Yumi's!
- AUW supported Crow when he took a wound and otherwise kept Ban safe as he began to escort the 'package' out.
- Crow was not alone in his visions...
- Both Vela and Remek experienced various hallucinations that preyed on their weaknesses. For Vela, it was the idea that she lacked strength and was overwhelmed while being helpless. Remek on the other hand saw a vision his new 'girlfriend' mutating and turning on him.
- While the team began to retreat, they were confronted by a new type of monster. A large mass of flesh and limbs that seemed to absorb its kindred to increase its strength. This blob creature easily dispatched one of the Yumi's Remek had sent out. The other one managed to hold the ground long enough for Crow to provide some support with a grenade.
- Through some quick thinking, the crew made it into an adjacent hallway where Vela was able to psionically hold the door shut. The crew then escaped from the monsters - hoping they wouldn't be followed.
- Remek was physically and mentally sick after the experience - seeking solace in some tinkering and trinkets. Vela had a conversation with him about fear and soldiers - to which they had differing opinions. AUW gave Remek some medication to help calm him.
- Nikki got the vehicles ready and would lead the group out - giving the data she collected over to the scientists for examination.
- Crow used his scope to note a strange alien creature on the ridge watching him. It was pale white, its skin stretched across its skeleton with little to no muscle or fat. With a flat head, "gill" like appendages on its neck, and a single eye... the creature was a strange observer who wore an obsidian 'space suit'.
- He asked AUW what it was to which AUW replied that the description befit the Voidsmen. However, there are dozens of other theories as to what Voidsmen looked like and no concrete proof either way.
- Allei also observed the creature.
- Allei kept Remek company, but she briefly shared her insights into theories for what was going on.
- Allei suggested that the creatures they ran into were Cragmen that had gone under experimentation or possible exposure to the virus.
- Allei believed that the virus they brought were possibly 'The Gods' aka the Primordials.
- Allei pondered a potential connection between the virus and the Deaders since R and Horst have both been interested in it. The Deaders possibly being 'descendants' of the primordials or having some connection to the monsters inside who re-purposed "meat" and the idea that there was a psionic force or hivemind behind them all.
- One theory was that the Voidsmen = Deaders.
- Allei is pondering the idea of blackmailing Ban for his behavior during the recent events.

Session 34 - Repairs and Excavations
- On the fourth day - the group ran into an issue. One of the vehicles broke down on the road...
- Remek began the repairs with Nikki's assistance.
- The laborers gathered around to take bets on how fast Remek could finish.
- Vela, Allei, and Crow kept watch.
- Vela found a piece of glass which she shared with the scientists - who knows? Maybe its a relic of od.
- Allei found vehicle tracks and spent shell casings in the immediate area.
- She would later wonder if some kind of ambush was planned here.
- Crow spotted a campsite near a cave high up nearby.
- At that campsite, there appeared to be an insectoid (cricket) and a rakashan who were bounty hunters. They were out here collecting pelts of Cragmen. They soon left - seemingly unaware of the Last Parsec's crew.
- After the bounty hunters left, Vela went to investigate their cave.
- Vela found the cave had a natural source of water and vegetation.
- Vela found the corpse of the white-furred cragmen. It appeared that the bounty hunters had tried eating it.
- Vela found a Voidsmen Power Crystal.
- She found a few other misc. things from the Cragmen Corpse.
- After Remek finished repairs, the group continued their traveling. On the fifth day, they made it to the site...
- The group ended up finding two hidden entrances that they believed would get them into the site.
- The group opted to take one that was a little more difficult to find. The laborers began to excavate an entrance.
- The group kept watch while the excavation went underway.
- Tamit felt a familiar feeling here before...
- She sensed a possible connection to the Primordials here - a type of advanced wifi / cloud.
- She searched old data and found that she had once been here before with R.
- With the door excavated hours later, the group proceeded inward.
- The door possessed a psionic signature, but also could be felt by those gifted with Weird Science.
- Vela opened the door with her psionic strength.
- The 'tomb' appeared to be advanced technology built into the natural terrain. The first room appeared to be archive library room with numerous datapads.
- Nikki would hack these datapads and collect the data - it will need to be translated later.
- Bathed in twilight, the room brought back memories of R and Tamit being here.
- In an adjacent, sealed away chamber -- a virus locked in a strange container was waiting. It appears R. came here for one sample of this. The other sample... would be an interesting find for the expedition, but had the group rightly cautious of it.
Session 33 - The Cragmen Attack!
- The Cragmen ambush against the crew of the Last Parsec began!
- From his hiding spot, Remek unleashed two robotic fox-women who attacked the shaman and his Cragmen!
- To protect himself, the Shaman conjured earth and rock from the ground to provide armor to himself. Forming a spear/drill with it, he attempted to skewer the attacking robotics.
- Tamit took to the air with her jump booster - unleashing a hail of minigun laser fire!
- The first round of combat began!
- Remek began with his akimbo laser SMGs against the Cragmen while his robotic fox-women found themselves getting impaled on the shaman's rock/earth spikes.
- The shaman channeled his psionic energy to grow to the height of a skyscraper! Turning into a towering rock monster.
- Vela threw an energy blade at the shaman while moving to engage with a crowd of charging Cragmen!
- Ban, the leader of the expedition, decided he needed to get a closer look at the shaman. Grabbing his sniper rifle, he moved forward to investigate...
- AUW accompanied Ban - attempting to convince him to return to the vehicle while making sure he was protected.
- Crow focused on the shaman - firing as his giant rock eyes!
- Nikki emerged with a new VTOL light power armor like suit - taking flight, she started firing laser blasts at the shaman! While it may not have been a true WALKER like she had been trained to drive, it was still an impressive piece of tech and a new trick in her arsenal that she had worked hard at getting operational.
- A team of Cragmen charging in managed to severely wound Vela with their superior numbers.
- With trouble afoot, the captain disappeared and went into stealth mode with a plan in mind - budding psionics at work.
- Round two!
- Yumi had some bad luck - swinging her sword and going flying after she was punted by the shaman.
- Remek continued his assault with dual laser SMGS!
- Tamit unleashed enough laser minigun fire to kill the shaman - but the shaman channeled his psionics to soak the damage and remain fighting.
- Vela cut down multiple cragmen with her blades.
- Seeing the shaman in action and so close to him, Ban actually did a full retreat and pack up in an armored vehicle.
- AUW attempted to incapacitate the shaman with a shock, but found it ineffective with the shaman's new size change.
- Crow's powerful, accurate shot managed to blind the shaman.
- Nikki's new armor kept on impressing a - powerful laser shot wounding the shaman!
- The cragmen assaulted both Vela and Tamit!
- Round three!
- Remek overcharged both his weapons in hopes of stunning the shaman - and it worked! It left him unable to attack.
- With the Cragmen ganging up on her, Tamit used her flamethrower pointblack on a group of them.
- Allei finally revealed her plan! She had been using several rounds to buff herself with psionics and climb on top of the Cragmen shaman! At point blank range, a called shot to the head, Allei's dual wielded plasma pistols went full force into the shaman - melting his brain and bringing his body crashing and toppling down on top of Tamit!
- Vela mopped up the remaining Cragmen.
- Combat was over...
- In the aftermath...
- Tamit was discovered to be largely unharmed, but it had been a close call.
- AUW inspected Allei - worried about her with the budding psionics and the risks that she took.
- Crow discovered in the distance, an albino cragman had been observing the whole thing.
- Tert, Ban's assistance, seemed to be taking the whole scene hard--using the bathroom was cover to have a small breakdown to herself. AUW checked to make sure she was alright.
- While searching around, Allei found $2,000 worth of old tech that could be sold to a collector.
- During the fight, a rock slide had occurred that blocked the path. Rather than take the half of day it would take to fix this, the group opted to find an alternative route. It was more dangerous, but the group managed. Traveling continued...
Session 32 - The Expedition Begins!
- A hologram of a tablet was shared with the group by the expedition.
- The tablet has symbols for quarantine and knowledge on it - along with a hidden location mapped out on it.
- Due to this, Horst thought it would be worth the resources to pursue and find out what was there.
- The team assembled in their vehicles and started out on their five-day expedition.
- On their first day, the group came across a challenge: a flooded river blocking their path.
- While scouting, Vela opted to use her telekinesis to block some of the river's path.
- Remek jurry-rigged the two vehicles together, so that Nikki would be able to use her superior driving skills to get both the vehicles across safely in one-go.
- The group noticed that they were being watched by a scout, one of the Cragmen.
- Cragmen were furry humanoids - resembling vaguely apes.
- It took no hostile actions for the time being - keeping tabs.
- The group found a cave in which to camp out for their first night.
- The group saw signs of some reptilian feline creature stalking nearby in the night, but it did not engage with them. It possessed the ability to generate armored plating to protect itself.
- While on the road for the second day, the group discovered a path that lead side-by-side with a raging torrent of water. They detected movement on a ridge overlooking ahead.
- Remek, using his invis-tech, went up to scout while the group 'faked' taking a break.
- Tamit herself went as well - using her burrowing device.
- Remek and Tamit found a hunting party of Cragmen laying in wait to ambush the group.
- It looked like they set-up a rockslide to trigger to smash the vehicles when they crossed the threshold.
- Remek went undetected, but Tamit was found out by the cragman's leader: a shaman! Combat began...

The Crew [WIP]
This post will detail the crew of the Last Parsec.
The Ship
Gifted to the core six members of the crew, The Last Parsec is an older freighter vessel (classification: light) that had been converted into a research vessel by the enigmatic weird scientist R. Originally a gift from the U.C. after it had been deemed largely unusable, R. sunk some of her own resources to make it almost as good as the day it was made. The ship has been exposed to strange 'upgrades' over the years from R. as a result of her research, obsession, and travels involving ancient civilizations.
Allei
Allei looks and plays the part of the disaffected college slob: lazy, malnutritioned, and unmotivated. She's 'curvy' to one step beyond what might be considered 'healthy,' she still has mild skin issues, and her dark red hair retains this slightly stringy quality due to an improperly-executed purple dye job and lack of proper healing minerals afterwards.
Even with all of these issues, the potential in appearance is still apparent- she has a radiant smile, brilliant green eyes, and an aura of life about her. She's currently dressed in soft brown leather boots, beige leggings, brown shorts, and a white dress shirt with a brown vest.
AUW
The ship's doctor is best described as a cyborg dog. He is larger than most breeds of earth canine, though, standing at 4'0" at shoulder height and 5'1" long. He is covered in graying, brown fur and has golden eyes. Of course, the most striking feature (and one possessed by his entire species) is a pair of large, mechanical arms attached to his shoulder blades. They resemble industrial equipment and are made of a gray composite metal, possessing three "fingers" and a "thumb" to manipulate object and tools.
Various plates of similar composite are grafted to his body, mostly covering vital areas or protecting joints. His paws are also reinforced with the material, and two plates jut slightly from his haunches so the arms can fold back and rest. He isn't wearing anything you'd call "clothing", though he does have a backpack. When the others start approaching the dock, his eyes fall on them, though his expression remains blank.
Crow
The ship's first mate looks anywhere between his twenties to thirties it depends on the time of day you catch him and his mood. He is the sort that always seems serious and contemplative until you talk to him and then he is lighthearted and jovial. Unless yer on his bad side. He stands about 5' 10" and is well built. He is athletic and toned, and has a look that says he is a bit of a scrapper. The scar across the bridge of his nose cements this point.
He has short-messy sandy blond hair or maybe it's brown could be either depending on the light. He has light brown eyes that are always regarding the area around him. Right now he is wearing a long dark brown coat. It looks well worn. It's not trench coat length but long enough and sits on him well. Underneath that he has a white button up shirt that looks like it was really nice once. Brown casual pants complete with pads and twin belts. The loops is where he keeps his gun holstered. Underneath the clothing you suspect he has body armor. He is currently watching those who are arriving.
Nikki
The ship's pilot and resident computer expert is a girl in the wheel chair was a terran girl of slender, almost unhealthy, build with black hair that sort of hung messily down her back or in her face. She wore a bodysuit of some kind that covered her whole body from neck to feet. She held a cup on both hands shakily, and was sipping whatever drink she had almost nonstop with a straw. Her eyes were tired looking with bags beneath them, but full of curiousity as her gaze darted here and there at random.
Every now and then she'd point at something and comment about it that she had heard of it before, unless she was asked to stop she'd keep doing that. She also had a strange habit of commenting on what species someone they went by was. ... in fact she did do that, to every one else present at the table. She had been friendly enough and spoke to people who spoke to her, but for the most part she didn't really talk except to point something out to Remek.
Remek
The ship's engineer is a simian male, standing at 3'8" and carrying himself lightly. He has a bright, upbeat expression most of the time, and there's hardly a moment when his prehensile tail isn't swaying about or wrapping around anything nearby, including his own limbs or the legs of those he knows. His hair is brown and wild, like someone set his head on fire and then petrified the flames. His fur is a little less unkempt, covering his nose, lower arms, legs, and tail, with the tail accented by rings of black. His eyes sparkle with energy, and that energy is also conveyed by an inability to sit still -- it's like he begins his day with 10 pots of coffee.
TAMIT
TEXT
Vela
Vela a slim, athletic woman of medium height with yellowish skin bearing darker brown stripes. Her hair is a few shades darker than her skin, but otherwise of similar hue. She's dressed in a halter top and shorts of olive color, along with several pouches, and wears what looks like a pair of knives crossed behind her back with the hilts poking up over her shoulders.

Session 31 - Horst and the Expedition
- The crew of the Last Parsec opted to meet with Horst Tappelkhirre, a high-ranking official within JumpCorp who they've assisted in the past.
- Horst is in charge of the Veiale Expedition which will consist of a team of scientists and laborers (guarded by a security force) that will explore the wilds of Dysnomia, a moon which orbits Eris.
- Dysnomia's major geographical features consist of expansive polar ice caps and oceans. The main body of land is divided into two hemispheres: one consisting of desert with an acidic atmosphere that makes it impossible to fly in and another that is made up of marshes, beaches, and swamps.
- The dangers on Dysnomia consist mainly of the infamous Crag Men - a primitive species that has a few psionic shamans in their ranks. Another danger is the spineworm which burrows into a person--driving them insane before killing them.
- Dysnomia is a part of JumpCorp's plan to turn this area of the frontier into a major player within the Known Worlds - Dysnomia has numerous settlements and outposts: the largest of which is the Blacklung Ore Processing Station.
- The pirate, Torgis Brevin, is said to be hiding out on Dysnomia. He has recently killed a clerk at Blacklung and stolen antimatter containment units.
- He wants to hire the group to be that security force in exchange for $3,000 each.
- Horst is afraid that whatever "Leak" within JumpCorp that wants him dead will sabotage his mission - hence why he wants to contract an outside group that has proven to be reliable.
- Horst has opted to seek out protection internal affairs agent Maruul Soteeg.
- The group ultimately agreed to working with Horst.
Horst put Allei on equal footing with the expedition leader. - Horst explained some of the details of the expedition...
- The team...
- 10 laborers.
- 2 scientists.
- 2 archaeologists - this will be the pair leading the expedition.
- 2 exploration vehicles containing survival gear.
- The Last Parsec Crew and whatever they take with them.
- The goal...
- Recover historical data and items of interest in the quest to learn more about the subsector's early history.
- Vela seemed to take the implication that they would be looking for information on the famed Voids Men.
- Upon arriving at the Last Parsec after the meeting, Allei briefly had a strange episode that she wrote off as being linked to her monthly time.
- The Last Parsec went to the Space Station on Dysnomia.
- The JumpSec guards that checked them into the planet made them consent to identification chips that acted as visitors passes.
- The space station consisted of a seedy bar, a filthy restaurant, and a vermin infested flophouse called Ghaeum. A shuttle here could transport people to Blacklung Ore Processing Station while a local also had decommissioned attack helicopters that he could transport in.
- The group located their Jumpcorp Science Team and introduced themselves...
- Ban Veiale is a middle-aged man with dark brown hair that is starting to gray. He wears a brown felt fedora with a long sleeved jacket, a white undershirt, and khaki tactical pants. He has a 5'oclock stubble and keeps a bag of archaeologist tools close - with his sniper rifle being held closer. Ban is confident, boisterous, and too curious for his own good.
- His assistant, Tert Auknatt, is a dark-haired woman in her late twenties with a skin tight black and white space suit. On her hip, she carries a light slug thrower pistol and has a similar archaeology bag. She tends to be more reserved, but has a wild side. Despite her mentor's quirks, she is steadfastly loyal to him.
- Next time, the Last Parsec's crew and the JumpCorp Science Team leave on their expedition...

Session 30 - Night's Conclusion
- Remek...
- The engineer managed to give his tails the slip by ditching the two PSE spies with some Weird Science and quick thinking.
- He escorted his date to her hotel where she kissed him good night - thanking him for an exciting night and desiring to see him again.
- She let the standing offer to visit her on Leviathan remain.
- On the ship...
- With the bounty hunter (Crow) having finished his security work, he opted to return to the Last Parsec where he ran into Nikki.
- CLINT had been trying to relate to Nikki about her 'family' issues, but the situation seemed above his pay grade. He did talk about R briefly - how she had a 'game' figured out before the first move was made. CLINT shared that R likely had an interest in the research being done at Paragon Science Equipment, and in Nikki.
- Nikki and Crow met on the Last Parsec - the two sharing how their nights went. Remek soon joined them as well.
- With the danger of Nikki's sisters present, the three of them on orders of Allei pulled out of Harmonia Station and went out into spare.
- During the down time, CLINT and Crow watched a movie that CLINT claimed was based partially on Crow's father.
- Remek and Nikki worked on Nikki's secret project.
- While in space, the group ran into a magnetic anomaly that threatened to leave them stranded in space. Through some quick thinking and careful maneuvering, the group was able to escape from the effected area. They hovered outside Harmonia Station; waiting for the rest of the group.
- At the party...
- Allei ran into an old acquaintance of hers from the U.C. Academy. Nicole Portner was a prodigy under the U.C. and trained under Allei's father. She was well known for her tactical planning and environmental awareness. She did a tour with the U.C. before leaving and entering the private sector with JumpCorp where she easily climbed the ranks and became in charge of event planning and finances. Her record is nearly spotless, but she is dogged with rumors of being a member of a religious cult.
- Vela stumbled into the hall where a raffle drawing was being done for the attendants. She was lucky enough to be called down by Rob Rorker, a kalian host who was over-excited, but found it difficult to work with Vela. He offered her a choice of prize and she of course picked the mystery box. She ended up walking away with the frame of a Power Armor which appeared in a HoloPlay.
- AUW after touching base with Horst, ran into a beetle-insectoid called coleopteras. This person was named Koleos and had an interest in AUW since he had never met one of his kind before, but had heard plenty about them and their penchant for cybernetics. Koleos considered himself to be a cutting edge cyber-tech designer and wanted to offer AUW a free enhancement - a pro-bono affair that would allow him to see what it was like to work on an AUW and see how his work fared on the field. AUW agreed and set-up an appointment time.
- Tamit ran into Ssssal (a will executor for JumpCorp) and his assistant Bigfoot. Tamit decided to engage him in conversation and lured him to his hotel room under the pretense of sex. She was able to learn the following information, but ultimately did not engage in any activities with him - leaving him nursing a potential grudge (if he'll remember it after all the alcohol).
- Ssssal is at Harmonia Station to oversee the clusterfuck that is Horst's estate as he was declared dead and his will was executed. So he is attempting to repair that. He had to attend the charity event out of obligation to the corporation.
- His personal goal was to drink heavily and get lucky with some action. However, his business goal was to increase his standing among Maruul Soteeg, Nicole Portner, Chanx Oblios, and Horst Tappelkhirre.
- He didn't seem to know R. personally, but was aware that JumpCorp likely had outstanding interests in her given her history with them if she was in fact still alive.
- Tamit then inquired about various rumors floating around among Ssssal's personal contacts.
- The group reunites...
- Everyone shared their intel with each other and contemplated how to deal with Nikki and Remek's hunters and which missions to pursue with JumpCorp.
- The next task on the dossier is to meet with Horst Tappelkhirre privately and then choose a task to pursue.

Custom Items
Hi everybody!
I try to be flexible and accommodating to my players in all games. This includes all aspects of the game - edges, powers, and what not. If you feel like your character should be able to do something, or you want them to be able to do something, and its not somehow covered in the existing ruleset for Savage Worlds -- well that's what homebrew is for.
With that in mind, I try to keep all my resources and creations on this blog as it maintains a record of it (presuming Blogger never goes down). I'm going to use this blog post to list some custom items I and others have worked on for Savage Worlds.
-------
Basically, one of the things I've been looking at lately is Power Armor, Walkers, and more because those are all interesting concepts to me and we're getting to the point in the campaign where they may begin to open up for the PCs.
The first concept is a "Super Heavy" power armor -- so a bigger power armor than the ones listed in the book.Several of my players brainstormed this one.
Power Armor - Super Heavy: Size: 4 | Armor: +14 | Mods: 14 | Pace: 8 | Weight: 400 | Cost: 4M
7/14 Mods
Weapon Mount (2) - 5k x 2 = $10k
Medium Vehicular Laser (2) - 500K
Targeting System (1) - $20k
Propulsion Jets (1) - $5k
Sensor Suite (1) - $5k
Anti-Personal System (1) - $5k
Total Cost - 4.545M
Next, we have a "Very Light" Walker - basically a smaller version of the smallest Walker listed in the book. A player of mine and I brainstormed this.
Chassis: Very Light
Size: 4
Pace: 30
Strength: d12+2
Toughness: 15 (4)
Mods: 9/15
Crew: 1
Base Cost: $500k
Mods:
AMCM (1): $5k x 4 = $20k
Deflector Screens (2): $10k x 4 = $40k
Jump Jets (2): $100k x 4 = $400k
Dual linked Medium Laser (2): $500k x 2 = $1M
Targeting System (1): $10K x 4 = $40k
Sensor Suite (1): $50k
Total Cost: $2.05Mm
Next up, I played around with the sizes again -- this time a Size 3 walker.
Chassis: Very Very Light
Size: 3
Pace: 10/30
Strength: d12+1
Toughness: 16 (5)
Mods: 9/10
Crew: 1
Base Cost: $375,000
Mods:
JumpJets (1): 100,000 x3 = $300,000
Shields (1): 50,000 x3 = $150,000
Targeting System (1): 10,000 x3 = $30,000
Sensor Suite (1): $50,000
Deflector Screens (2): $10,000 x3 = $30,000
Dual Linked Light Lasers (1): $100,000 x2 = $200,000
[1] Armor (1): 10,000 x3 = 30,000 [factored in to above stats]
[1] Reinforce Frame (1): 10,000 x3 = 30,000 [factored in to above stats]
TOTAL COST (W/MODS): $1,195,000
This last one is a credit to one of my players who came up with it on their own - its an attempt on a similar concept, but on a downscale level so that it functions like 'regular armor' instead of Power Armor.
- Armor: +4/+8 vs. Ranged Attacks, Negates up to 4 points of AP from ballistic Weapons.
- Toughness: +4
- Parry: +2
- Weapon: 50/100/200 Range, Ballistic, 2d10 Damage, AP 4, RoF 1, HW
- Raises Shooting by 2 Ranks
- +2 Shooting, Additional +2 against Medium, Long, and Extreme Range targets.
- +2 Notice
- 50x Magnification, Thermal Vision, Low-Light Vision. Additional +2 to Sight-Based Notice. Eliminates illumination penalties.
- +2 Pace, increase Running die by one step.
- Raises Climb by 1 rank, Can climb any surface with no penalty
Total Cost: 110,000 Credits.
That's it for now, but expect more down the line!

Session 29 - Charity Event
REWARDS
- Allei can purchase one ULTRA TECH item 50% off with DM APPROVAL.
- AUW: $2,000 contract bonus.
- TAMIT: Collectible Hoverboard ($3,500)
- TAMIT
- Continuing to interrogate Cavalry, Tamit ultimately got the girl to question working for Paragon Science Equipment. She revealed what she knew about Remek and Nikki to Tamit in exchange for being able to walk away. At the end, she revealed she possessed psionic abilities like teleportating. Tamit left her information with Cavalry, and took hers as well.
- CROW
- Crow reached out to Wacha for specific information pertaining to his sister. The two surmised that Cyclops was indeed his sister and that Wacha would do more direct research into her in exchange for a face-to-face meeting with Crow's superior officers.
- Crow made arrangements through the Marshal to be part of the security at the charity event. He kept to a camera room where he observed protestors - he was able to diffuse the chanting crowd and get the situation back to normal.
- REMEK
- Opting to go on a date with his companion, Sanaa, Remek left and met up with her at a high profile Kalian restaurant that cooked at tableside for guests. It was on the spicy side.
- Dining at the same table, a Rakashan family that kept to themselves and two young girls roughly Nikki's age.
- The date went well, though Remek felt a little touchy upon revealing his past employment history.
- Remek learned that the two girls were spying on him and had connections to Paragon Science Equipment. After eavesdropping on them, he left the restaurant with his date while being tailed by the two girls...
- NIKKI
- Rather than go with the group, she opted to begin work on a secret project aboard the Last Parsec.
- CLINT was with her and remarked that it felt familiar to be back on the ship.
- Nikki revealed a little bit about herself, and the secret she had unlocked aboard the Last Parsec to CLINT.
- Jewel and Gem, 113 and 114, were experts in gene therapy and sent to track down Nikki and Remek by Paragon Science Equipment.
- Nikki was able to get the upper hand on the two woman by taking control of their drone.
- She gave them a message to take back to the Doctor and his security chief.
- Allei made contact with Maruul Soteeg. The JumpCorp Internal Affairs Executive agreed to meet the group at a charity event for Void Sickness.
- Tamit, Vela, AUW, and Allei reached out to their fashionista: Daisy. She provided the group recommendations on what to wear.
- Crow tagged along, but kept to handling security. See above.
- Upon arriving at the event, their photographs were taken, but they declined an interview.
- Fayt Lannar, the holoplay star, was on the red carpet and pulled the group in for a quick impromptu interview. He seemed pleased that they were willing to participate.
- He mentioned a new play in the works: Space Cowboy (Out On The Frontier).
- While mingling, Allei made contact with a JumpCorp executive in high level R&D. The two of them struck it off and he made a promise to "hook her up" with something down the line.
- AUW made a pharmacy-tech salesman and made arrangements with his company. He'd receive a bonus from his employers for the lucrative contract he helped seal.
- Vela ran into some bigots, but she was able to scare them off by psionic-muscle flexes.
- Tamit ran into Pro Hoverboard Skater: Brony Eagle. He seemed to fancy her and provided her with a signed hoverboard.
- Maruul Soteeg would find the group at their dinner table during the event.
- AUW revealed that he had Void Sickness - part of the reason he was interested in attending.
- Allei provided Maruul with the data they had required from Groid's Rock.
- In exchange, Maruul revealed that she would have two more jobs for the group if they were interested:
- Deliver a shipment to the prison planet of Lethe. This would let them get another crack at Groid.
- Go undercover on a JumpCorp Vessel to root out potential saboteurs who plan to blow it up.

Session 28 - Wacha Your Next Step
- The group went to the Kallisti Apple to speak to Wacha in person.
- The group filtered in either two or one at a time through the front door; utilizing their VIP access to get themselves in.
- It seemed that the Apple was on high alert, but the group was not "made" in the sense that the Apple's owner(s) were on the hunt for them.
- A young woman with a punk persona (later identified by the name of Cavalry) seemed to be casing the area for potential bounties.
- She would later realize upon Remek and Nikki as targets her employer was after from a Private Contract which Tamit picked up on.
- Tamit was able to accost the girl in the restroom and disarm her - later leading her out of the club and into an alley where she interrogated her.
- Tamit has currently learned that Cavalry works as a bounty hunter for Paragon Science Equipment - she's attempting to increase her reputation within the organization.
- Cavalry and a team was sent to Harmonia Station to find Remek and Nikki after their intel pointed PSE to this area.
- Cavalry was not actively hunting for them at the club, but found them upon chance - she was merely attempting to practice her bounty hunter skills in her off time while her commanding officer prepared for their 'hunt'.
- Cavalry did get word back to her CO to 'prepare the plan' when she realized that Remek and Nikki were present.
- At the moment, Tamit is still interrogating her...
- Remek was the other party member who did not opt to go visit Wacha...
- With free drink vouchers, Remek went on the dance floor and discovered the Simian Tourists he last partied with.
- Sanaa, the girl that Remek hit it off last time, was quick to latch onto Remek again -- having played up his exploits to her friends. Remek had more stories to share, more shots to drink, and more moves to dance.
- Sanaa and her friends came from rich parents who worked for JumpCorp. Sanaa had just completed her educational studies (a degree in xenobiology and psychology) - her final thesis had been on the limitations of deader's body symbiosis and the psychological effects that came with possessing a new body.
- Their trip out to Eris Beta V was soon ending and they planned to take a trip to Leviathan next.
- Leviathan was billed as a world with similarities to Earth's Jurassic period. The majority of the world has been left preserved aside from a few resorts that have been built there for tourists and vacationers.
- Sanaa tried to convince Remek to come with her, but he opted to stay with the crew -- he did say he would express interest going there to the crew when the opportunity arose.
- The two made plans to get dinner later...
- The rest of the group (sans Tamit and Remek) flagged the special code to go meet with Wacha; who was waiting for them back in her private room.
- Wacha probed the group for recent feelings regarding their missions; mainly their moral feelings on them. She herself was a pacifist as a result of the destructive nature of her species and their homeworld's fate - but knew that in her line of work, somethings were unavoidable with certain clients.
- Wacha agreed to do what she could to ensure the sale of Groid's Rock and its assets for the group -- she had a buyer lined up that she would be vetting and taking to explore the assets.
- Allei revealed that notion that there was a conspiracy within JumpCorp's ranks and revealed that Horst's recent arrival and Groid's recent capture likely played roles in it - ultimately, a warning was given to Wacha about Ujun and this area.
- Wacha would make plans to vacate the Apple and establish a new base elsewhere - for the time being, she would focus efforts on Groid's Rock and then likely meet up with the Crew's Ship for a time being, if they allowed.
- Due to the group's recent efforts and work with Wacha, she had deemed them as trustworthy, and shared what information she had on R and her goals...
- R wanted to locate the Scientorium - a massive library that is said to be an artifact of the Primordials (the original and first race to conquer the Known Worlds and the Frontier).
- She had hoped that the knowledge contained with the location would be able to reveal much - the pinnacle of her life studies.
- Wacha believes the key to getting to the Scientorium is sealed away on the Last Parsec to where the group cannot access it. She believes getting there will require unlocking various pieces of the puzzles -- pieces which she believes R's old contacts possess and were entrusted with.
- Wacha would compile this list of people, but referenced the first one the group should seek out if Horst Tappelkhirre - an old colleague of R's.
- Wacha would then make arrangements for Maruul Soteeg and the group to meet to discuss the JumpCorp related information they found -- with Horst's meeting looming afterwards.

Session 27 - The Station and the Sheriff
- The group's approach to Harmonia Station was imminent...
- Vela requested that she viewed the memories of the party in an effort to understand as many experiences as she could to gather information about the Known Worlds and the Frontiers.
- Most of the group agreed - though some had caveats and stipulations for it.
- Vela made plans later to perform her memory readings; she offered to share some of her own memories in exchange.
- AUW had been contacted by Horst Tappelkhirre - the information which he shared with the group.
- AUW and the party's presence were requested at a meeting tomorrow regarding a potential joint operation and expedition.
- Horst expressed his gratitude at being rescued from the assassination attempt by Groid's Raiders.
- Crow requested that the first stop the crew make was to the Sheriff on Harmonia Station.
- The party agreed for several reasons...
- They had important information to share they gathered from Groid's Raiders -- Allei wanted to bring this to JumpCorp's internal affairs (Maruul Soteeg).
- They hoped to recruit CLINT, the deputy.
- Crow wanted to be transparent about his RANGER membership out of concern for the station.
- Allei, while showering and cleaning up, let out a shriek from her bedroom. The group requested if she needed help, but she declined.
- When she came from her room, it was revealed that she had adopted a femme fatale type persona - she was certainly beautiful and charismatic enough to play the part.
- Crow and AUW proceeded to the Sheriff's Office ahead of the rest of the Crew.
- Lynx, Crow's RANGER MENTOR, had been stalking Harmonia Station ever since Crow sent her word that he was done hiding.
- The two had an argument upon the future of the RANGERS. Crow hoped that he touched and convinced Lynx in someway, that the RANGERS needed to act openly and regroup in order to be a symbol of hope to the people. Lynx was worried that it would only get people killed, and themselves destroyed.
- The two did not come to an agreement, but Lynx said she would arrange for Crow to speak with their elders/bosses regarding his ideas.
- The group arrived at the sheriff's office...
- There, they found CLINT who was watching a Space Western movie and miming the actions on the screen. The sheriff agreed to turn him over to the group, but they had to leave his frame behind. As a result, the group opted to load his A.I. onto Nikki's Drone, Kuma, for the time being. The group officially had a new crew member!
- The group saw an experienced looking Yeti Mercenary in the waiting room, but no one was able to identify him - despite his vast reputation in this subsector. He seem interested in Allei, but if that was just due to her increased sex appeal or something else, was undetermined.
- The deader Marshal of Goldpoint Station, Yubukdor Hanz, was seen leaving Marshal Kaine's office. He stopped for a moment to talk to the group; drawn in by Allei's charm.
- Crow showed off his Ranger's Badge to the Sheriff.
- Kaine ultimately would believe Crow, but was more scared than anything about it. The RANGERS had enough rumors about the death and destruction that followed them and she feared for her people.
- Kaine took a moment to explain Asimov Circuits and their requirements in the Known Worlds to Tamit who began inquiring about the legalities of it.
- Allei revealed that the subsector would see good news -- she had jumpcorp secrets that were good, but did not share them with the sheriff.
- Allei also implied that the group would not be staying at Harmonia long -- wanting to lay low. Kaine offered the bounty on Brevin's Gang as a way for the group to kill two birds with one stone.
- The group makes plan to visit Wacha, who is in the "lion's den" of the Apple (the owner being the JumpCorp "leak" to Groid's Raider) and to see Maruul Soteeg as well -- to say nothing of their appointment with Horst Tappelkhirre. It'll be a day or two of meetings sprinkled in with downtime and personal endeavors...

Session 26 - R&R
- The Last Parsec set an uneventful course back to Harmonia Station.
- The idea was that they could resupply and wrap up any loose ends before possibly making themselves scarce in Eris Beta V.
- The group split some of their spoils from Groid's Rock. You can find more details on the loot blog entry.
- The group voted to have Wacha, who would take a 10% cut, expend some of her resources to find an appropriate buyer for Groid's Rock and their assets.
- During their travels, the group spent some time resting and relaxing to bond as a group - recovering from the mental and physical damage of the Raid on Groid's Rock.
- During the down time, Nikki found that the physical rehab with AUW had gotten her to the point where she can walk comfortably again.
- Nikki and Vela played pool with each other.
- Tamit, AUW, and Remek seemed to be working on various things.
- Allei was tucked away somewhere.
- Crow was contemplating the situation before him as a Ranger with his identity revealed.
- On the side, Remek and Crow had a conversation in which Remek revealed that he and Nikki had bounties on them for the 'escape' that was pulled by them.
- Nikki was technically the property of Paragon Science Equipment and Remek had broken his non-disclosure and work contract.
- Crow put an SOS out to the rangers for any and all information concerning PSE's activities due to Remek's claims of thousands more like Nikki being held there.
- Crow, with a clearer mind that the night before, decided to broach the group again with the conversation of attempting nonlethal means where possible and avoiding as much brutality as possible.
- The group came to an understanding that they would not attempt such brutality, but Crow had to know that it was possible within the line of duty as killing was sometimes unavoidable. Who can be blamed for what they do when their life is on the line?
- Crow, in his spare time, opted to test the door that blocked his passage to the secret floor within the Last Parsec.
- He learned that the door required three passwords. He tried various things to get pass any of the passwords, but none of them worked.
- One password was a verbal phrase.
- One password was DNA related.
- One password was a material object.

GROID'S DATA
The following information has been summarized from the intelligence gather from Groid's hard drive.
- Groid's Fleet: Each ship that has sworn in service to Groid's Raider is listed.
- Raider Deployment: Key members of Groid's organizations are named and there are locations of their current deployment.
- Groid had several secret bases within the Kallisti Reach. Although the bases are named, their locations are not explicitly mentioned. With a map of this subsector and a knowledgeable astronavgiator, the coordinates of these locations might be able to be discovered based on the intel provided.
- Supply Manifest: This details the amount of weapons and supplies Groid has amassed from pirating. This includes stolen goods and goods purchased to perform their pirating.
- Insider Intelligence: Ujun, the club owner on Harmonia Station, appears to provide insider information to Groid and his raiders on cargo shipments and JumpSec troop movements throughout this subsector.
- It is possible that Ujun has connections to WRAITH as well.
- It is unclear how Groid knows WRAITH. It is possible that WRAITH put them up to this JumpSec ambush and Goldpoint Station plan.
- JumpSec received information that Groid's Raiders were planning to attack Goldpoint in force just as ore storage reached its monthly peak; forcing JumpCorp to lose billions.
- The location of Groid's Rock was purposefully leaked to JumpSec.
- The rumors of the attack on Gold Point were false; planted by Groid's ally on Harmonia Station (the owner of the Kallisti Apple, Ujun).
- Groid had amassed his pirate fleet near Groid's Rock; hoping to ambush JumpCorp vessels that came to investigate. Groid was expecting a fleet on fleet battle, not two ships sneaking past.

Session 25 - Raid on Groid's Rock (Part 5)
- The battle with Groid continued...
- With his escape defeated, he overcame the stun-charge AUW had sent for him. He tested his will and might against Vela and AUW, but was found lacking.
- Crow shot a pirate attempting to harm Tamit, but she was the one to finish it off in a gruesome display: a flamethrower down the man's throat.
- A pirate had closed the doors to cut off access from three of the party, but Nikki's drone Kuma and Remek were able to get the doors open. Remek even killed the pirate responsible for it!
- Vela unleashed a devastating display of swordsmanship of Groid--leaving him with severe wounds and an opening that Allei took advantage of; sliding forward into danger and firing off dual wielded plasma pistols which took Groid down.
- In critical condition and near death, AUW opted to perform emergency triage to save the pirate captain so that they could bring him back alive.
- However, there was the matter of the ticking self-destruct sequence...
- Vela reached deep down into the man of Groid and with her psionic capabilities, wrested the emergency override command from his mind.
- Nikki, through Kuma, was then able to input the password in order to save Groid's Rock from self-destruction.
- AUW also ensured that Crow's wound, given to him by WRAITH, was taken care of.
- In the fallout...
- The WRAITH soldiers were able to escape.
- The remainder of Groid's pirates and fleet fled the immediate area of this subsector.
- The pirate prisoner the group had left chained had been assassinated by WRAITH.
- Nikki collected the others on the Rock; bringing them victory smoothies.
- Groid was escorted on board. He would ultimately be delivered to Captain Reiner, the leader of the Starblazer and their Jump-Sec team.
- Vela and Crow attempted to interrogate Groid before, but his mind seemed resistant to the psionic diving this time around and he was in too critical condition for a standard interrogation. This would frustrate Crow as he would be left with questions unanswered concerning WRAITH.
- Vela had to borrow some of the psionic pills that AUW and his company are testing.
- The group saw the carnage out in space; several of Groid's attack ships seemed to have been decimated by some type of weapon that pierced through their halls and tore their ships into two with ease.
- The group would later question Nikki about this, but for the time being, the nature of the weapon was not revealed to the group except Tamit, who, while not having a full idea of the picture, seemed to understood enough about the leviathan.
- With Groid turned over to JumpSec, the group met for a debriefing...
- Allei revealed that the harddrive recovered from Groid had a lot of useful information, but a cursory inspection did not reveal anything that might link to WRAITH.
- Allei wanted more information on the weapon Nikki utilized in the space battle, but for now, it remained unanswered.
- Allei suggested the group leave this subsector awhile, after resupplying at Harmonia Station, in hopes that the dust will settle from their recent events.
- AUW agreed; as he was interested in doing more exploration of the Frontier.
- Crow, rather than leave the strange situation with WRAITH under-wraps, decided to share a tale about himself.
- The soldier that attacked and left Crow for dead was, in fact, his little sister named Lisa. As a child, Crow and Lisa were on the home planet of the RANGERS, a law enforcement agency that stretched out far into the Known Worlds and the Frontier. His father, KANE LOHNAGAN was a well known RANGER, who died defending his family the night WRAITH attacked the RANGERS home world.
- WRAITH killed Crow's parents. He had managed to escape with the help of R., but his little sister had been left for dead. Little did he know, Lisa was taken by WRAITH and turned into an operative for their organization.
- It is believed that R. had information regarding Lisa's recent whereabouts, which might have put her in WRAITH's watch. After sharing this intel with CROW, Allei theorized that R. faked her own death and went into hiding for the time being.
- The hat Nikki had acquired from CLINT belonged to Crow's dead. Nikki opted to give it back to Crow, who with some hesitation, took it.
- CROW has seen the face of one of WRAITH'S leaders, and as such, could identify him to the organization.
- During this revelation, Crow also took offense to Tamit's earlier brutal execution style. He said that the group had to be better than that, they were the good guys on the side of the law after all. Tamit rebutted that she killed the man in the most efficient and painless way possible for him, but Crow was still worried about how such vicious tactics would be perceived by the public.
- With the revelation that Crow was a ranger, and with Groid successfully captured (though there was worry that he would never make it to the icy planet of LETHE where JUMPSEC keeps their maximum security prison---killed at WRAITH''s whims), the group has a moment to breathe.
- Next time, they can rest up, discuss more about recent events, and make a plan going forward...

Session 24 - Raid on Groid's Rock (Part 4)
- It was time for the showdown with Groid...
- Crow utilized his Voidsmen Artifact to induce phasing on himself; allowing him to take the storage utility lift and scout the immediate area above. He eventually found Groid; alerting the group to his location while maintaining eyes on him.
- Crow also had the bad luck of running into a WRAITH soldier who specialized in stealth armed with a gyrojet rifle.
- She was capable of phasing as well and fought him on the incorporeal plane; disarming him of his rifle.
- The two had a small exchange--it seems that the two of them know each other.
- Tamit utilized her Voidsmen Artifact to burrow into the upper north west of the storage bay. There, she was forced to engage a small group of pirates. By herself, she was able to kill half a dozen pirates with her boomer rounds; destroying a catwalk in the process. She ended up in a prime position to either push the attack on Groid, or support the group against WRAITH.
- Remek had decided to take the vent shafts; sending a suicide drone (strapped with rockets) down to one of the rooms. The explosion killed several pirates, and kept several other busy investigation it--along with a potential WRAITH soldier armed with a scout suit power armor and a plasma rifle.
- In the mean time, Remek decided to support the main party; utilizing numerous buff, summons (Yumi), and SMG overcharge flurries.
- The main group consisting of Vela, Allei, AUW, and Kuma (Nikki's Drone) breached through the main entrance where pirates immediately engaged them in fire.
- Vela's teleporting voidsmen artifact along with her natural psionic enhancements allowed her to cut through numerous pirates.
- Allei came in dual wielding plasma pistols and was able to score a couple kills herself as she assessed the layout for the floor and began making tactical plans.
- AUW decided to be dutiful bodyguard and doctor; keeping Allei safe from harm while healing Vela as she took damage.
- Nikki's drone provided cover-fire with its dual SMGs.
- Pirates and elite pirates alike engaged with the group; scoring a few shakens and wounds, but they were clearly outmatched in terms of fire power. Luckily, Groid had apparently been in a meeting, or finishing up something with numerous WRAITH soldiers. The WRAITH soldiers were meandering about to assess the group, but when one of them, a woman in power armor with laser katanas was attacked by the group, the WRAITH soldiers decided to engage.
- Groid himself challenged the group, but did not engage immediately; instead, going to a business deck and manipulating something there.
- One of the WRAITH soldiers in assault power armor and armed with a molecular chainsaw cut a hole through a wall and charged to assess with his fellow soldier who was ambushed.
- Outside, the fight continues to look dire between the Starblazer and the Last Parsec versus Groid's Fleet as it appears he kept more ships in reserve than the initial assessment suggested.
- Nikki was able to engage in cyberwarfare to keep several ships busy, but it looks to grow more and more dire. In desperation, she began scanning the Parsec for hidden weapons...

Session 23 - Raid on Groid's Rock (Part 3)
- The crew of the Last Parsec battled with Groid's hackers, drones, and warbots.
- During the battle, AUW was able to sustain himself against a heavy amount of fire while Tamit was incapacitated at one part (though with no lasting damage thanks to Remek's repairs after the fight).
- Crow and Vela also sustained wounds, while Nikki's drone was incapacitated.
- The group overcame the odds though; taking down three warbots and a dozen drones along with their two pilots.
- No prisoners were taken...
- However, one of the hackers had attempted to slag their drive. Allei was able to recover it in time.
- An open computer console allowed the computer to get a thorough understanding of Groid's Rock. With it, they were able to determine that...
- Groid was currently held up in a storage area that was off-the-grid. To get to it, the group would either have to take a special, secret cargo lift, or go up a secret, special staircase.
- There was also the potential and danger to take a vent shaft into the area.
- There were no cameras in the area, but Groid and his skeleton crew were seen entering it along with camo-cloaked mysterious benefactors.
- Outside, the crew of the Starblazer and Nikki piloting the Last Parsec were in dire trouble...
- They had managed to fend off a group of Groid's fighters acting as scouts, but three vessels began to engage them; out-numbered and in trouble, your allies attempted to hang on until you could complete the mission.
- The group split up and decided to hit Groid from all angles--hoping to not draw the ire of the mysterious benefactors who were believed to be from the organization known as WRAITH.
- The group received the following lot...
- $5,000 worth of salvaged parts.
- 2 Plasma Pistols.
- 2 Cred-Sticks with $2,500 each.
- 1 Hard-Drive.
- Combat Specialty Cyberware
- Armor Cyberware

Session 22 - Raid on Groid's Rock (Part 2)
- Tamit lead the interrogation against the pirate prisoner.
- The Rakashan pirate agreed to cooperate in exchange to be taken alive as a prisoner after he had been successfully intimidated.
- The pirate seemed to be unaware of an impending attack on Goldpoint Station.
- He revealed that Groid employs a 'Nerd' who handles the technical side of things at the station.
- He gave the group key phrases and access codes for this current week, as well as his key card.
- Groid was preparing to leave, but had to finish a meeting with one of his 'information brokers' first.
- Crow received a message on his PDA that disturbed him; he shared some of the details with Allei.
- The group knocked out the prisoner and left him handcuffed, then proceeded to the elevator.
- The group opted to take the elevator down; hoping to find Groid's hackers in order to prevent their interference and get control of the station's systems.
- The group attempted to oppose Groid's hackers, but they were able to remotely take control of the elevator and stopped it between levels.
- To get around this, the group climbed to the top of the elevator, dropped it, and then climbed down with the ladder.
- On the bottom floor of Groid's Rock, the group emerged from the elevator...
- They found a darkened computer server-area which was being defended by warbots and wardrones; the group exchanged in a fire-fight in the dark!
Session 21 - Raid on Groid's Rock (Part 1)
- The Last Parsec after their profitable exchange with the Ice Pick spent several days to reach their destination; passing through the Kallisti Reach and Goldpoint Station.
- Upon arriving at their destination, they got in touch with the JumpCorp's security vessel: the Starblazer. This ship is a Cutter Vessel; ideal for hit and run tactics on larger ships or a security escort versus lesser fighters.
- The Starblazer was commanded by Captain Reiner and his team of JumpSec professionals.
- The Last Parsec went aboard the Starblazer to discuss tactics.
- The Starblazer would remain on standby to handle any starships that attacked from Groid's Fleet while providing distraction and coverfire if needed.
- The Last Parsec would act as the main infiltration unit; entering Groid's 5-level base through the docking bay. From there, they had orders to capture or kill any pirates associated with Groid with their primary target being Groid himself.
- Nikki remained to pilot the Last Parsec, but her drone as well as the others left in a drop-ship to approach Groid's Rock...
- Tamit's excellent piloting skills allowed her to dock at Groid's Rock without being detected.
- Groid's Rock only had his flagship and several fighters docked at the moment; most of it looked clear.
- Vela lead the group into the heart of Groid's rock...
- The group encountered a small batch of pirates on their way to get Groid's ship ready; the group dispatched all but one of them who they made plans to interrogate...
- The group with some quick wit and thinking were able to fool Groid's Nerd who demanded a check-in...
Saturday, April 2, 2016
Session 20 - Voidsmen Wreckage (Part 2)
- The pulse from last time seemed to be a freak, mini-ringstorm.
- Ringstorms occurred rather regularly out here; on a set schedule. However, sometimes, freak occurrences happened when debris and wreckage would fly through the area.
- The Away Team had to make it back to the ship before they got torn apart by the debris!
- Vela used her telekinesis to propel the cache and the Ice Pick's Away Team to the safety of the ships while the rest of the group had to make due on their own...
- Allei and Kuma counted on their agility in zero-g, Vela used telekinetic shields, and Tamit / Crow both utilized their weaponry to help them get through. Nikki was able to help by manning the LP's laser weaponry.
- Although the experience was harrowing, the away team was able to make it safely back into the ship.
- Once safely inside, the group prepared to open the artifact cache in the cargo hold...
- Vela registered a psionic signature within the cache that reminded her of technology on her homeworld.
- Once the cache opened...
- The group was exposed to an airborne virus that would lead to the development of Void Sickness. They all resisted it, and the threat would later be eliminated by exposing it to the vacuum of space while also performing a thorough scrubbing later on.
- A radbeast; a silicon based lifeform, formed a vaguely humanoid shaped and emerged with several of the silicon spiders that the crew encountered on the space station.
- The radbeast unleashed a burst of radiation, but the group was able to primarily resist the negative effects of it.
- By combining their gun fire and attacks, the group was able to destroy the spiders and the radbeast before any serious harm could be conducted by them.
- To destroy the regenerating radbeast, the group took its nuclear core into a lead containment and jettisoned it out into space.
- The group collected their voidsmen artifacts and ultimately parted ways from the Ice Pick after a job well done...
- 3 spare energy crystals (12 charges each)
- Tamit: Antimatter Displacer (BURROW) - This purple crystal disitnergrates matter in its path, and collapses it in its wake.
- Vela: Dimensional Shifter (TELEPORT) - This black crystal pin rotates the wearer along a dimension higher than fourth.
- Allei: Psychic Lash (PUPPET) - This black crystal circlet dominates others' minds.
- AUW: Quantum Shifter Type 2 (INVISIBILITY) - This transparent crystal pin bends light waves around the wearer.
- Remek: Quantum Shifter Type 5 (SPEED) - This thick, square crystal pin dilates time around the wearer.
- Crow: Quantum Shifter Type 1 (INTANGIBILITY) - This reddish-gray crystal pin shifts the wearer's spatial dimension.
- Nikki: Genetic Optimizer / Defuser (BOOST/LOWER TRAIT) - This pinkish-white crystal primes or decouples DNA to alter performance.
Session 19 - Voidsmen Wreckage (Part 1)
- The Crew of the Last Parsec spent the next few days making preparations for their missions.
- JumpSec gave the LP coordinates to a rendezvous point in the Kallisti Reach. From there, the raid on Groid's Rock could begin.
- The LP got clearance and began to fly out of Harmonia Station; through the inner rings of Eris Beta V and towards Kallisti Reach.
- Once in the Inner Rings, the group picked up a direct communication from another ship.
- This ship was known as the Ice Pick; a light freighter that acted as a mining vessel.
- The crew itself is primarily made up of simians and a few humans.
- Betty, a female white-furred yeti, with bangs covering one of her eyes, seemed to be the captain of the vessel. She ran a tight ship, but had a motherly quality to her.
- Spike, a male white-furred AUW with red eyes, is in charge of security and safety for the Ice Pick. He has no real soldiers under him, but his fearless and alpha-dominate mindset serve him well.
- Yayar, a female tulip floran, is the ship's mechanic and engineers. For her, getting down and dirty with oil is just as good as soil. She's rather reserved and quiet.
- Jang, a red-furred female simian, has a lot of piercings and an overall up-beat personality. She often hides her face underneath a holographic overlay of a bear. She's the ship's first mate.
- Plana, a male simian, he is rather unremarkable, but always seems to end up on away team missions for some reason.
- Ruko, a male simian, acts as the voice of the crew; usually having a good pulse on the ship's attitude.
- Adalo, a male kalian, has a penchant for over worrying and works as the ship's doctor.
- Betty had a proposal for the Last Parsec...
- They had come across a cache of Voidsmen Artifacts, but were afraid of possible security measures involved. These artifacts sometimes had deadly traps or guardians protecting them.
- In exchange for the LP providing security as the Ice Pick recovered it, they would split the artifacts 50/50.
- The group expressed some concerns, asked some questions, but agreed to a potentially easy score.
- The Last Parsec and the Ice Pick met up...
- The two ships docked with another.
- Remek, AUW, and Nikki would be the home team.
- Allei, Crow, Vela, Kuma (nikki's drone), and Tamit would be the away team.
- The away team for the Ice Pick was Jang, Ruko, and Spike.
- The away teams suited up...
- AUW revealed that he had a procedure that would allow the away team to treat the vacuum of space like a normal environment; it would be dangerous but provide them with more mobility and less restriction.
- There wasn't much to the Voidsmen Wreckage...
- It appeared to be some sort of living quarters at one point attached to a larger vessel.
- The wreckage had a psionic pulse to it. Could this ancient feeling truly have connections to the Primordials? Are they and the Voidsmen one and the same?
- Allei was able to acquire a circuit board from one of the door panels.
- The team was able to secure the cache of artifacts, just in time to feel a strange 'pulse' wash over them and through the empty space...
Monday, March 21, 2016
Session 18 - The Sheriff and CLINT
- The Last Parsec crew went to the meeting with Subsector Marshal K'Gaed Kaine.
- She revealed that she was willing to make an exclusive deal between the crew and JumpCorp; essentially offering them the chance to be part of an operation to take down GROID'S RAIDERS.
- GROID'S RAIDERS are believed to be planning an attack on Goldpoint Station. This is the main mining facility in this subsector. Goldpoint Station's ore storage is at its peak this month and JumpCorp stands to lose billions in addition to the loss of life.
- The MARSHAL offered the group to utilize a squad of 10 JumpSec Marines and the STARBLAZER, a light cruiser vessel.
- The group expressed concerns of a mole or spy within the potential marines. KAINE offered to vet the marines and provide the group she trusted the most. The group also had their internal affair contact, MARUUL SOTEEG, look into it and offer her recommendations for the mission.
- Some intel was shared on GROID; along with a potential location for his base. The plan would be to raid GROID'S ROCK. The group would earn exclusive salvaging rights of the location after the fact.
- The group ultimately decided they'd contact KAINE if and when they were ready for the job.
- The crew had noticed one of the deputies, a re-purposed warbot, acting strange during the meeting...
- The warbot kept stealing looks at the group's android, TAMIT.
- It seemed to have some quirks and be on the fritz... the group offered to look at it and repair it if it was damaged. The sheriff consented.
- The group learned some things about the warbot...
- Its designation and serial number had been removed; instead the name CLINT had been written instead.
- The original owner of the warbot was R, though it seemed to have fallen into JumpCorp's hands at some point.
- CLINT seemed entranced by an old, lucky sheriff's hat kept in the lockup.
- Nikki and Remek noted that some "WEIRD SCIENCE" seemed to be at work here to grant CLINT semi artificial intelligence. A possible 'ghost in the shell' or soul within the machine.
- REMEK jury-rigged a device together to allow CLINT to speak. It used a western accent when it did.
- It revealed that R had given it the code name of CLINT for its own protection and that hat once belonged to its old partner. It recognized TAMIT from hidden directs planted within it by R; who he worked with when she was a graduate student. R and his old partner were close.
- CLINT seemed to have limited memories. However, it did know that R. wanted it to come with the crew of the Last Parsec. They would need to work out a deal with the Marshal to make that happen.
- The hat had a faded out name in it: KANE.
- ITEM RECEIVED: Lucky Sheriff's Hat (the wearer gains the LUCK edge.)
Monday, February 29, 2016
Session 17 - The Prodigal Scientist (Part 3)
- The fight continued from last time...
- AUW would take some serious wounds, but would ultimately survive.
- Most of the pirates were either killed or eventually apprehended.
- Crow contacted Law Enforcement; the Sheriff and her Deputies arriving on the scene at some point.
- The job was done...
- Horst and Chanx thanked the group for saving them.
- Most of the group split afterwards; not wanting to be associated with law enforcement.
- Crow and Vela stayed behind to talk to the Sheriff; who worked out a deal with them for the party to pursue GROID and his RAIDERS.
- The group sent word that the job was done, and received payment for it.
- The group relaxed over smoothies and discussed future endeavors...
- The group ultimately decided to meet with the SHERIFF to discuss the bounty on GROID'S RAIDERS.
Session 16 - The Prodigal Scientist (Part 2)
- In order to protect the scientist Horst Tappelkhirre, the group prepared a little.
- Some people purchased weapons or items that'd be easier to sneak into the event.
- Some people conducted recon; either in person or through camera systems.
- Some people conducted research; searching the deep web and other things for important information.
- The group went to the Grand Observatory for the event.
- Depending on the party member, some people blended into the event, others attempted to mingle, and some just kept to themselves.
- The party was able to discover that the JumpSec guards on duty were actually members of the pirate gang: Groid's Raiders.
- Allei met a SUPER FAN of HORST'S named RYAN. Originally, his uneasy and suspicious behavior was a red flag, but it soon revealed he was no threat--aside from wanting an autograph.
- Vela attempted to warn CHANX, the other speaker at the event, about an impending attack via a psionic message. He accepted the warning, but threw in a threat against Vela if she lied.
- HORST and CHANX took the stage, but before a speech could be given...
- A fight broke out!
- The JumpSec guards, secretly pirates, fired upon HORST and CHANX.
- NIKKI sent her drone in, and used her hacking to turn on holograms to help protect CHANX and HORST with COVER.
- AUW took the stage to protect HORST and CHANX; healing them when necessary and taking hits while attempting to defend them.
- ALLEI maintained her disguise, but attempted to disarm one of the guards.
- TAMIT likewise tried to disarm a guard.
- REMEK sent his mechanic creation, YUMI, to slice up some guards while he himself utilized his dual LAZ-SMGS.
- CROW pulled out his PARTICLE RIFLE and took fire on guards.
- VELA threw herself in head first; utilizing twin daggers and her psionic powers.
Session 15 - The Prodigal Scientist (Part 1)
- On the news, the garnish caption of HORST LIVES! blasted story clips.
- Renowned scientist Horst Tappelkhirre, a JumpCorp researcher, was thought to have died six years in the tragic destruction of the research vessel known as INNOVATION. The ship was destroyed in the orbit of AITE and Tappelkhirre and his colleagues were thought to be lost.
- In a remote part of the KALLISTI REACH, a derelict escape pod was located with none other than Tappelkhirre located in it. The deader's unique physiology is thought to be the cause of his survival.
- HORST gave a small speech; claiming that the pilot had crash landed on the surface of AITE where he had spent a month marooned before he and his colleagues jury-rigged an escape pod together. All of his colleagues were lost. It is believed that his escape pod has drifted for close to five years until it was recently discovered.
- The group revealed some information they had each come across...
- Nikki found out that the company that helped trained her is sending a security team compromised of people like her to bring her back.
- AUW revealed his company is field testing a few drugs and requested that those who were willing in the party, partake in their testing.
- The group found $5,000 worth of salvage accidentally delivered to their docking bay, which they in turn were able to pawn.
- The group was tapped by Wacha for a job...
- The JumpCorp executive, Maruul Soteeg, has decided to tap the group again and arrange a job.
- The group met with Soteeg at Kallisti Apple; she seemed nervous, but conducted the meeting in 'public' in a corner of the night club.
- She believed that HORST'S life might be in danger due to external and internal threats. As a result, she wanted the group to protect and watch over him during a press conference. She did not want the group to reveal themselves unless necessary, or reveal their connection to her.
- The press conference will be at the Grand Observatory on the Public Walk. In addition to HORST, the group needs to make sure that JumpCorp subsector administrator Chanx Oblios is kept safe.
- Soteeg will pay the group $500 each, with it being changed to $2,000 each if there's danger.

Session 14 - (Death) Wish Upon a Star
- During the week in which the party rested, Wacha provided them with a job...
- The crew was to provide security for a famous holoplay actor: Fayt Laanar.
- Holoplays are a popular and enduring medium in the Eris subsector. Far beyond mere 3-D, the audience is literally surrounded by the story, sometimes becoming participants in a limited fashion.
- The Harmonia Holo Playhouse, the station's swankiest, is located on the Public Walk. Laanar's newest holoplay, The Lord Of All Space, is premiering tonight. In this holoplay, Fayt Laanar is portraying Emperor Decaton. He is a tragic figure who attempted to unite several gaalctic sectors, but suffers a humilating fall from grace and dies in impoverished solitude.
- The film's detractors cite a laundry list of similarities between Emperor Decaton and Lord Betagron (a yeti warlod whose bloody conquests killed millions before his defeat). Put simply, they don't take kindly to a sympathetic depiction of Lord Betagron's deeds.
- The group arrived at the holoplay house with hours to spare; Fayt arriving to greet his fans and prepare for the premiere...
- Besides his die hard fans, there was also numerous protesters.
- The group discovered that, hidden among the fans, was an assassin meant to kill Fayt.
- Through their direction intervention, they were able to prevent Fayt from being killed and apprehended the would-be assassin (later turning him over to JumpCorp).
- Fayt and the group made acquaintances with each other; learning that Wacha had sent them to protect Fayt during the premiere.
- In the hours before the premiere, each member of the group faced challenges...
- Remek thwarted a group of protesters from confronting Fayt.
- Allei did a tactical sweep of the building and blocked off several easy points of access as well as prime areas in which an attacker might go after Fayt.
- Nikki was able to save the premiere by taking down some remote hackers who were looking to cause mischief.
- AUW managed to save Fayt after the actor had consumed a poisoned drink.
- Tamit, during some of the early preparations, stopped a would-be assassin from using the lights and other trappings to kill Fayt.
- During the showing itself, Crow and Vela took out a last-minute direct assassin against Fayt.
- The group managed to enjoy the showing of the premiere thanks to their efforts, as well as keep Fayt safe.
- The premiere was well received; the movie would perform well in the coming weeks and provide Harmonia Station with some much needed entertainment after the recent JumpCorp ship explosion.
- The group would accompany Fayt to several after-parties; able to enjoy themselves for a job well done.
- Fayt took a shine to the group; it seems he wants to contract them or utilize them for their feedback in future HoloPlays.
- REWARDS...
- The group gained Fayt as a contact.
- The group each received $1,750. (This is after the party fund chunk was taken out of the original payment of $2,000.)

New Game Choices
As you guys enter new areas (and we start new modules / adventures), new edges and hindrances specific to those areas become available. If you are interested in swapping one of your existing hindrances for these new ones, or taking a new edge, just reach out to me and I will help you facilitate the swap.
ERIS BETA V
- HINDRANCE
- Lethargic (Minor)
Between Eris’ orbit and all the varying orbital rates of her satellites, night and day are fluid concepts. These constant shifts play havoc with some beings’ circadian rhythms, causing them to be constantly listless and enervated. Whenever the hero with this Hindrance sleeps, he must make a Notice roll (–4) to wake up. He also suffers a –4 penalty to Vigor rolls made to stay awake. - Void Sickness (Major)
Spacers who suffer from this Hindrance are influenced mentally and physically by the galactic void that borders the Hyaergos system. Nightmares and out-of-body experiences, in which the dreamer feels the sensation of hurtling through a black void, are common among those with the Hindrance. No doctor has been able to pinpoint the cause. Your spacer suffers –2 to all checks to avoid Fatigue, such as those made to resist radiation, poison, and disease.
- EDGE
- Improved Gravitic Acclimation
Requirements: Seasoned, Gravitic Acclimation, Agility d8+
The hero with this Edge hasn’t just acclimated to zero-G, she’s virtually an acrobat. She can move swiftly in such conditions, and vault between surfaces to great effect. In zero-G she adds +2 to Agility rolls made to perform acrobatic maneuvers (including Tricks) and +1 to Parry. - EQUIPMENT
- Stun Grenade (Range - 5/10/20, Weight .25 lbs, Cost $30)
- This grenade uses a neural force similar to an EMP to stun targets' nervous systems. When thrown, all targets in a LARGE BURST TEMPLATE must make a VIGOR ROLL or fall prone and incapacitated. At the start of each subsequent action, they can make a VIGOR ROLL to revive. Success means a target revives but is SHAKEN for the round and can cover on the next as usual. A raise means he revives instantly and is not shaken.
LEVIATHAN
- HINDRANCE
- Weak Stomach (Minor)
Your spacers' digestive system doesn't react well to new or unusual foods. If your hero's native cuisine, or at least the bland concotion of proteins and starches found in most ship's galleys, isn't available, he must make a VIGOR roll to eat the available fare. A failure on the roll means he simply can't digest it, while a 1 on his VIGOR die (regardless of the WILD DIE) means he regurgitates the meal immediately - which may have unpleasant social consequences.
- EQUIPMENT
- Tranquilizer Pistol (Range - 2/4/6, RoF 1, Shots 1, Weight 3 lbs, Cost $700)
- Tranquilizer Rifle (Range - 4/8/16, RoF 1, Shots 1, Weight 6 lbs, Cost $2000)
- Tranquilizers do not work against targets with an armor of +3 or greater.
- To be effective, a tranquilizer dart must contain a dosage suitable to the size of the target. If the creature is larger or smaller than the dosage, it gains a modifier to its VIGOR roll equal to the difference.
- Example: A human (size +0) hit by a tranquilizer meant for a large dog (size -1) receives a +1 bonus. However, that same human receives a -2 penalty versus a dosage for a bear (Size +2). There is no upper limit to the bonus for an inadequate dose, but the max penalty is limited to -4 for excessive dosages.
- Setting the dosage for a single dart requires an action and can only be performed on a dart not already loaded in a tranquilizer gun.
- A rifle dart can be dosed up to Size +7.
- A pistol dart can be dosed up to Size +3.
- A target hit by a tranquilizer must make a VIGOR roll (-2 penalty if the hit was a raise) at the beginning of its next two actions. On a failure, it acquires two levels of FATIGUE, and with a success only one. If the target gets a raise on the VIGOR roll, he suffers no further effects from the dart, but keeps any fatigue levels he may have already acquired.
- It can be dangerous to hit a creature with a dart dosed for a creature 2+ sizes larger. If a creature hit in this scenario receives an additional level of FATIGUE beyond INCAPACITATED, he dies in 2d6 rounds unless another character makes a HEALING ROLL at -4. If a target critically fails one of the VIGOR rolls, the tranquilizer causes a heart attack (per the FEAR TABLE in SAVAGE WORLDS).
- Creatures INCAPACITATED by a tranquilizer dart are rendered unconscious until at least one level of FATIGUE is recovered. FATIGUE levels caused by tranquilizer darts are recovered at the rate of one every 30 minutes.
SLIPSTREAM
- HINDRANCE
- Weak Stomach (Minor)
x - EQUIPMENT
- TANGLE GUN ($1,000, $150 per net)
- Range 2/4/8, Damage None, RoF 1, Weight 9 lbs, Shots 5, Str d6
- Invented for capturing criminals unharmed, the tangle gun uses a compressed gas cylinder to propel a weighted net a single target. When it makes contact, the net wraps around the target, entangling him completely.
- Escaping a net requires a STRENGTH or AGILITY test with a -4 penalty. If the roll is failed, the victim is too entangled to make another escape bid and must wait for rescue.
- The mesh is strong and has a Toughness of 7 - cutting weapons only. Bound targets cannot cut themselves free. It is not possible to reload a fired web.
- GRAPPLE GUN ($600, spare grapple line $50)
- Fires a 30-yard high tensile cable attached to a metal spike. The user fires the gun as if it were a pistol (3/6/12). If it hits, the spike has lodged and can hold up to 500 lbs of weight. The fixed cable can be separated from the gun and tied to a nearby object, allowing the gun to be reused.
